We didn't start a Brand, We Started a Story

Some things begin with a business plan. Ours began with a boarding pass, a sketchbook, and a daughter who couldn't stop drawing beautiful things. Noemso Designs is a mom-and-daughter creative studio — Kathleen and Emma — built from three obsessions we've always shared: the thrill of discovering somewhere new, the joy of giving the perfect gift, and the belief that looking great is never optional.

Long before Noemsø Designs was a brand, it was a stack of plane tickets. Kathleen spent a long time preparing both of her children to start university in Maastricht, the Netherlands — flying back and forth to tour campuses, sort the paperwork, and figure out the small, practical details of setting two students up for a life abroad. Trip after trip, the same idea kept surfacing: travel gear should be beautiful enough to love and practical enough to actually live out of. That's where Noemsø Designs began — in airport mornings, overpacked carry-ons, and the quiet care of getting the kids you love so much ready to go.

Kathleen brings the eye for curation — years of traveling the world, collecting moments, and knowing that the right piece says everything a caption can't. Emma brings the art — original designs with a rare sense of color, detail, and soul that makes you stop, look again, and want it for yourself.

Together, we build collections worth owning and giving. Nothing here is stock art. Nothing is algorithm-generated. Every design is drawn by Emma — a young designer whose work you'd hang on a wall if it weren't already on a tee you refuse to travel without. We organize our collections around the places and feelings that move us: coastal light, mountain mornings, cities that hum at night, the quiet beauty of a road less traveled.

We are travelers who give gifts — and we refuse to look boring doing either. We know that ache of loving a place so much you want to carry it with you. We also know the frustration of airport gift shops full of things nobody wants. We built Noemsø Designs to fix that — so the traveler in your life, or the one inside you, gets something that actually means something.
